International Community Service

As a leader in the region, FON works with several international organizations to provide training to health professionals.  Participants from Asia, Africa, the Middle East and the Pacific have attended our short-training courses. These courses are designed to promote an international exchange of knowledge and experience and to provide students with an opportunity to gain theoretical knowledge and clinical experience.

Courses are taught in Chiang Mai, but upon special request, courses can be arranged outside of Thailand. Support for these trainings have come from the Thailand International Development Cooperation Agency (TICA), World Health Organization (WHO), WHO – Southeast Asia Regional Office (SEARO), the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), the United Nation’s Children Fund (UNICEF), and the government of Bangladesh.
