     Pratum Soivong is an Assistant Professor in medical nursing at the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University. Over the past 10 years, she has been actively involved with research in the areas of developing an enhancing self-management program for patients with chronic illness including patients with type 2 diabetes, stroke, cardiovascular disease, breast cancer, and cancer survivors in Thailand. She is also on the administrative committee of the adult nursing program, as well as the short course training program. She is the case manager of diabetes and hypertension, and palliative care program at Faculty of Nursing, CMU. She has taught adult nursing at the bachelor’s and master’s levels, as well as statistics for nursing research at the master’s and doctoral levels. Dr. Pratum Soivong has experienceace as a peer reviewer of the Thai Nursing Journal. In addition, she attended the international program of The Middleton Foundation for Ethical Studies Global Fellowship.
