Sirinard Deechairam is currently a Clinical Instructor in surgical nursing at the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University. After she graduated with a bachelor’s degree, she worked as a registered nurse at the Emergency Department, Maharaj Nakorn Chiang Mai hospital for two years then she became a clinical instructor so she can share her knowledge, experience and mistakes with students on how to take care of patients. She wants to teach them how to be a good nurse. Her teaching focuses on training the students about the clinical practice and the nursing process in the Surgical and Orthopedics Care Units. Her research interests are all related to Emergency Nursing because there are many things to study such as the disease, team management, and how to care for emergency patients within a short period of time. Presently, she is applying for Master Degree/PhD programs in the US so that she can further her education through a scholarship offered by CMU to highly qualified CMU alumni who graduated with First Honors and are currently instructors at their Faculty.
