Her research area of interest is work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) specifically among Thai surgical nurses. She thinks it is important because it is one of the major problems in many countries and many professions with substantial costs and impact on the quality of life. While doing her master’s degree, she investigated protective behaviours and musculoskeletal disorders among sewing machine operators in the garment industry.

Currently she is a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University. She has continued to study WMSDs among professional nurses, particularly Thai surgical nurses as her dissertation research is about physical activity for musculoskeletal health among a group Thai surgical nurses, as numerous studies support a correlation between physical activity and musculoskeletal disorders. She is also looking at the factors influencing engagement in physical activities for musculoskeletal health among this specific group.
