Karnjana Chaiteeka is currently a clinical instructor of Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing department at the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University, Thailand. She graduated from the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University with a bachelor’s degree with first-class honors in Nursing Science.
Karnjana Chaiteeka is responsible for teaching in the areas of obstetrics nursing, especially in the intrapartum nursing care as a nursing clinical instructor. In this area, she has worked as a registered nurse in the labor unit at Maharaj Nakorn Chaingmai Hospital for more than three years. During that time she learned about teamwork and self-sacrifice. She has gained a great deal of professional experience in taking care of pregnant women who have both normal and complicated pregnancies. She also supports the families of pregnant women and encourages mothers to do early breast feeding. Her professional experience will be a useful resource for understanding about midwifery, and maternal and newborn nursing, which are her research interests. Her ambition is to educate the next generation to have an understanding of nursing theory. She strongly believes that she has a potential to keep improving herself through teaching.
