     Sumalee Lirtmunlikaporn is currently an Assistant Professor of public health nursing at the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University. She earned a bachelor‘s degree in nursing and a certificate in midwifery from Chiang Mai University, a Master of Science in Nursing from The Catholic University of America, USA and a PhD in Nursing from the University of Maryland, Balitmore, USA. After earning degrees in nursing, she also earned both a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Science (occupational health and safety) from Sukothai Thammathirat Open University, Thailand.
     She has been involved in several research projects such as sexual identity among adolescents, HIV prevention among adolescents, the problems and needs of Thai Elderly infected and affected by HIV/AIDS, local wisdom in promoting well-being of children and adolescents, local wisdom in promoting the health of the elderly, situational analysis of informal workforce, health services for migrant workers, and the development of a metacognition scale for Thai university students.
