     Saranya Wannachaiyakul is a lecturer of psychiatric nursing at the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University. She has 15 years of experience in providing psychiatric nursing care to diverse populations—both adults and child & adolescents, treatment of acute and chronic mental health conditions, mental health promotion and education, patient and staff teaching, and case management of psychiatric patients post-hospitalization. She earned a bachelor‘s degree in nursing from Boromarajonani College of Nursing Buddhachinaraj, Thailand. She earned a Master of Psychiatric Nursing and a PhD in Nursing from the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University. Her research experience is specifically in the areas of interpersonal communication, neglected, delinquent or at-risk youth, depression in adolescence, and computerized cognitive behavioral therapy program in reducing depression.
