Piyaporn Prasitwattanaseree is a Lecturer in obstetrics and gynecology nursing at the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing. Before moving into an academic role, she worked as a midwife for six years in the labor room. Whilst working as a midwife, she completed a Master of Nursing Science Degree in Public Health at Chiang Mai University in 2002. Currently, she teaches midwifery to undergraduate and postgraduate students. Her research interests and activities include breastfeeding, postnatal care, intrapartum, and postpartum interventions, particularly short and long-term consequences on mothers.
