     Kasara Sripichyakan is an Associate Professor in obstetrics and gynecology at the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University. As the chairperson of the Midwifery Research Center, she manages this branch of the Center for Excellence in Nursing Research with a focus on birth defects prevention and fetal/newborn development promotion. The center provides knowledgeable sources on these issues for both health care providers, especially midwives, and lay people. She has published much research in national and international journals.
