The Nursing Student Union of Chiang Mai University, in collaboration with the CMU Nursing Alumni Association and the Nurses Association of Thailand Northern Office, organized the Dam Hua Ceremony to Paying Respect to Former Deans, the Dean, Senior Faculty and Staff on the occasion of celebrate the Lanna New Year 2026.

The event aimed to preserve and promote the valuable cultural heritage, customs, and traditions of Lanna. On this occasion, Associate Professor Prayong Limtrakul, along with Associate Professor Ubol Niwatchai, Professor Emeritus Dr. Wipada Kunavikittikul (former Dean), Assistant Professor Dr. Thanee Kaewthamanukul (former Dean), and Assistant Professor Dr. Suparat Wangsrikhun (Current Dean), offered New Year's blessings. The ceremony took place at the Wichit Srisuphan Meeting Room, Building 2, on Friday, April 24, 2026.
