On Wednesday, August 19, 2026, Center of Excellence in Nursing Research, Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University in partnership with San Phi Suea Subdistrict Municipality, held an opening ceremony for a training program on "Health Situation Assessment and Capacity Building of Community Leaders to Create a Model Community for Health Recovery from Disasters and Emergencies". Assistant Professor Dr. Chanchai Yothayai, Associate Dean, gave the opening remarks, and Assistant Professor Dr. Khanittha Rattanakanya, Head of the Emergency and Disaster Trauma Nursing Center, presented the report. Mr. Somboon Boonruang, Mayor of San Phi Suea Subdistrict Municipality, and Dr. Hansa Setthabuppha, Head of the Center of Excellence in Nursing Research, welcomed the participants. The event took place at the San Phi Suea Subdistrict Municipality meeting room, San Phi Suea Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chiang Mai.
