Podjanee  Khwanngern Parkpoom is currently a Lecturer in obstetrics and gynecology at at the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University. In 1991, she earned a Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery from Boromarajonani College of Nursing, Ministry of Public Health, Thailand. Then she had worked as a registered nurse-midwife in the labor room for about 10 years. During that time, she was studying for a Master’s of Science (Public Health Administration) at Mahidol University, Thailand. She also had worked as a registered nurse-midwife in the postpartum unit for about 2 years. Since 2001, she has worked as a midwifery lecturer and gained a PhD in Midwifery from The University of Newcastle, Australia in 2015. While doing her PhD, she was studying an e-Learning course on “Breastfeeding Education”.
