     Patraporn Bhatarasakoon (Tungpunkom) is currently a professor in psychiatric and mental health nursing at the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University. In addition, she is serving as the Director of the Thailand Centre for Evidence-Based Health Care: a collaborating center of The JBI, University of Adelaide, based at the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University. Patraporn is the global trainer of JBI for systematic reviews training, evidence implementation, and GRADE guidelines development. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing with honors from Burapha University, Thailand. She went on to gain a Master's Degree in mental health and psychiatric nursing from the University of Texas at Austin, USA, and a Ph.D. in Nursing from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), USA. She also received her post-doctoral certification in child and adolescent mental health and mentoring of Ph.D. students from Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, King's College London (KCL), University of London, UK. Her research area focuses on chronic mental illness, child and adolescent mental health, Clinical Guidelines, and systematic reviews related to health care and evidence implementation. Her research program focuses on how caregivers take care of people with chronic mental illness at home and how to supervise them to live healthy by integrating health behaviors under the wellness model leading to relapse prevention and a better quality of life for both caregivers and care recipients. Her expertise lies in the skills acquisition model, counseling, group psychotherapy, group process, systematic review, and guidelines development training. She also supervises Ph.D. and Master's degree students in conducting primary research, research innovation, and evidence implementation to enhance the best practice in clinical settings.
