Libraries

Students have access to all campus libraries using their student ID and can borrow books from anywhere within the Chiang Mai University Network. Below is a list of libraries students are most likely to use:

Faculty of Nursing Library

During the semester the library is open the following hours:

Hours:
Monday-Friday 8.30 - 20.00 
Saturday-Sunday 10.00 - 18.00 

During the semester break, the hours are more limited. Please check with the librarian for the exact opening and closing times of the library.

Closed during public holidays.

The Faculty of Nursing Library is located in Building 2. The first floor of the library has been renovated as a “Living Library.” This floor features work spaces as well as separate individual and group study rooms that can be reserved. The library routinely provides workshops on how to use reference tools like EndNote, so be sure to check with the librarian for dates of upcoming trainings.

The second floor houses the FON library’s collection of more than 28,000 books and computer terminals to access thousands of electronic media.

Online Databases
Online databases allow you to access journal articles and to search for books at other academic institutions. Some of these databases require a log in. You will need your student ID to access some of these databases. Please contact a librarian for assistance.

Students are also welcome to use the main library of Chiang Mai University which is located on the main campus of CMU.
