     Srimana Niyomkar is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a master’s degree in pediatric nursing from Mahidol University. Then, she went on to earn a PhD in nursing from Case Western Reserve University’s Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing, USA.
     Her clinical experience, which spans more than 20 years, has been primarily in pediatric nursing. Her research expertise is related to pediatric chronic illness which is most commonly childhood cancer. Her current research interests include pediatric oncology, and pediatric end of life issues, as well as readiness for hospital discharge among hospitalized children.
