Chutima Meechamnan is a lecturer in surgical nursing at the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University. When she was working as an RN in the surgical unit, she decided to pursue a master’s degree in adult nursing and then went on to earn a PhD. Her research for her PhD was focused on participatory action research (PAR). She teaches nursing students in the hospital and has continually worked in the community to conduct HIV prevention classes for adolescents.
