Benjamas Suksatit is a lecturer in medical nursing at the Faculty of NUrsing, Chiang Mai University.  She is a Thailand Nursing Council certified Medical-surgical advanced practice nursing and a nurse researcher focused on prevention and care to reduce non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and its’ complications. She is also interested in implementing mobile-health to promote health and well-being. With her research team, she is now currently working on research and development of mobile health apps for people with type 1 diabetes, for healthy people to control dietary salt, and for aging people to promote mental health. In addition, she is also working with researchers and monks from Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University on several projects to promote NCDs screening, prevention, and care among Buddhist monks.
