Scholarships Help Nursing Students Pursue Their Aspirations at Chiang Mai University

Nursing students at Chiang Mai University's Faculty of Nursing were awarded scholarships by The Dawn Wellness Centre and Rehab Thailand. These scholarships were awarded to outstanding students who had demonstrated good academic standing and will support them in pursuing their nursing aspirations through the Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNS) program at NurseCMU. The Dawn Wellness Centre and Rehab Thailand are known for their excellent programs for drug, alcohol, and mental health treatment in Chiang Mai.

Dr. Thanee Kaewthummanukul, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, at Chiang Mai University, presided over the event and praised the school's efforts in pursuing partnerships with entities such as The Dawn Wellness Centre and Rehab Thailand. "Events such as this illustrate the importance of having and maintaining close partnerships. This helps our students and ensures a strong workforce for our communities going forward," said Dean Thanee.

NurseCMU offers a variety of healthcare-related programs that lead to an occupational skills award, certificate, associate degree, or bachelor's degree. With a shortage of healthcare workers, the growth of the community, and the increased demand for healthcare, there is a great interest in the quality health occupation programs offered at NurseCMU. Graduates readily find employment in various settings, most staying in the area.
