We are pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Dr. Patraporn Bhatarasakoon as the JBI Scientific Committee Representative for the JBIC Asia Region for the term 2024-2025.
Professor Bhatarasakoon is the director of The Thailand Center for Evidence-Based Health Care, recognized as a JBI Centre of Excellence, and has been a collaborative center with JBI for 21 years. In addition, she holds the esteemed position of Chairperson for the PhD in Nursing Science at the International Program Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University.
She was selected after considering eight nominees from 26 Centers to represent the JBIC Asia Region on the JBI Scientific Committee for the upcoming year. JBI Asia, with multiple Centers of Excellence and Affiliated Groups spread across 17 countries, is pivotal in advancing evidence-based healthcare practices.
Professor Bhatarasakoon's extensive expertise and devotion to psychiatric and mental health nursing and her experience in SR and Evidence Implementation make her an invaluable addition to the JBI Scientific Committee. She will be responsible for providing vital insights and steering initiatives that promote excellence in evidence-based healthcare within the JBI.
