Associate Professor Jutamas Chotibang, Director of the Center of Excellence in Nursing, Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University, has been chosen to represent Thailand at the ASEAN-India Women Scientists Conclave. Dr. Chotibang has been selected by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (PMO) of Thailand. This event is being organized by the Agency for Science, Technology, and Research (A*STAR) of Singapore in collaboration with the Department of Science & Technology Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) of India and the ASEAN Secretariat. The conclave aims to promote women in science and technology, facilitate mobility and connectivity, and create an international platform for sharing scientific knowledge and experiences to enhance cooperation and collaboration among India-ASEAN women scientists. The conclave will have about 50 participants, with approximately 30 participants from ASEAN and 20 from India. The event is scheduled for April 25-26, 2024, in Singapore.
The primary topics for this year's ASEAN-India Women Scientists Conclave, namely Artificial Intelligence, Healthcare, and Sustainability (Energy Solutions), are not just areas of scientific research but also pressing global challenges.
