Chiang Mai University and Columbia University Explore Potential Academic Collaboration in Nursing Education.

On the 15th of January 2024, the Faculty of Nursing at Chiang Mai University (NurseCMU) warmly received a delegation from the School of Nursing at Columbia University, USA, for a two-day visit to explore potential academic collaborations. The meeting at the Wilawan Senarat Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Building 4, Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University, aimed to discuss the feasibility of Columbia University's graduate students participating in a six-week clinical practice program at the Faculty of Nursing, Chiang Mai University, in 2024.

In addition to a tour of the faculty facilities, the visit included detailed discussions about the logistics, objectives, and benefits of the proposed academic collaboration. This visit represents a significant step towards improving global health education and promoting international academic partnerships in nursing.
