Global Connections

INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN THE FACULTY OF NURSING, CHIANG MAI UNIVERSITY, AND EDINBURGH NAPIER UNIVERSITY TO ENHANCE NURSING EDUCATION AND RESEARCH

The Faculty of Nursing at Chiang Mai University (NurseCMU) recently hosted a visit from a delegation of representatives from Edinburgh Napier University in Scotland. The visit aimed to explore potential academic and research partnerships between the two institutions. During the visit, the delegation was given a tour of NurseCMU by Asst. Prof. Dr. Jutarat Mesukko, Associate Dean for Research, Innovation, and Global Mission Integration, and Dr. Preeyakamon Krikitrat, Assistant Dean for the Integration of Global Missions.
 
The visit discussed possibilities for collaborations in nursing education and practice, student exchange programs, and joint research initiatives between the two universities. The delegation had the opportunity to explore NurseCMU's state-of-the-art facilities, training programs, and innovative research projects.
 
The visit marked a significant step in building a strong international network for NurseCMU, which is committed to becoming a globally recognized institution in nursing education and research. The potential collaborations discussed during the visit are expected to offer students and faculty from both universities unique opportunities to engage in international learning experiences, research, and cultural exchange. This will help enhance the global nursing education and research perspective and enrich cross-cultural academic exchange.
