The Nursing Faculty of Chiang Mai University (NurseCMU) is pleased to announce the visit of Prof. Dr. Jürgen Osterbrink from Paracelsus Medical University, Austria, on February 19-20, 2024. This visit is part of the Faculty Visiting Program, which aims to foster international academic and research collaborations.
The visit was welcomed by Dean Thanee Kaewthummanukul, faculty administrators, and staff who are committed to promoting academic cooperation between institutions. The event signifies an essential milestone in the ongoing efforts to enhance academic and research collaborations and serves as a bridge connecting healthcare education between Austria and Thailand.
During his visit, Prof. Dr. Jürgen Osterbrink had the opportunity to tour the Nursing Learning Unit, Library, and the NurseCMU Historical Museum, and learn about the Faculty's rich heritage and advanced educational resources. He will also deliver a special lecture titled "Introducing Paracelsus Medical University and Healthcare Research in German-speaking Countries" to provide valuable insights into the pioneering research and educational methodologies employed at Paracelsus Medical University.
This visit will pave the way for future cooperative endeavors, benefiting students, faculty, and the broader nursing science and practice field.
