Chiang Mai University's Faculty of Nursing Welcomes International Students for Global Nursing Practice Initiative

Chiang Mai University's Faculty of Nursing (NurseCMU) is excited to welcome four master's degree students from Columbia University's School of Nursing in the USA. This is part of the Global Student Clinical Experiences Program, designed to enhance cross-cultural healthcare education and clinical skills. These students will participate in a six-week nursing practice experience at a partner university's hospital from April 1 to May 10, 2024.

The program aims to provide Columbia University nursing students practical experience in a new cultural and clinical setting while sharing the latest nursing education and healthcare innovations between the two institutions. NurseCMU has been at the forefront of integrating international dimensions into its curriculum and practice, and this program is a testament to its commitment to global health education.

The reception for the incoming Columbia University students was held on Monday, April 1, 2024, marking the beginning of what promises to be an enriching exchange of knowledge, skills, and cultural perspectives in the nursing field. Chiang Mai University's Faculty of Nursing is proud to host these aspiring nursing professionals and looks forward to the mutual growth, learning, and exchange of ideas that this program will undoubtedly foster.
